By accessing or using Geotag Editor ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Description of Service

Geotag Editor is a free, browser-based tool that allows you to view and edit EXIF metadata in image files, including GPS coordinates, dates, times, and timezones. All photo processing occurs locally in your web browser using WebAssembly technology.

Photo Ownership

You retain full ownership and all rights to your photos. The Service does not claim any intellectual property rights over your images. Your photos are never uploaded to our servers — they are processed entirely within your browser.

User Accounts

An account is optional. If you create one, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials. Accounts provide access to processing statistics. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Use automated tools to scrape or overload the Service

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that metadata modifications will be perfectly accurate in all cases.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to loss of data or corruption of image files.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will update the "last updated" date at the top of this page when changes are made.
